A simple 434 MHz ASK RF transmitter module for creating basic one-way wireless data links. Breadboard-friendly and easy to pair with a microcontroller, this transmitter works with compatible 434 MHz receiver modules to send data wirelessly at up to 4,800 bps over distances up to 500 ft in ideal conditions.

Since this is a transmitter only, you'll need a separate 434 MHz receiver to complete the link. For bidirectional communication, two transmitter/receiver pairs at different frequencies are required.

Key Features

  • 434 MHz Frequency – ISM band operation
  • Up to 500 ft Range – Under ideal, line-of-sight conditions
  • 4,800 bps Data Rate – Suitable for low-bandwidth sensor data
  • 5 V Supply Voltage – Standard microcontroller compatible
  • Breadboard-Friendly – Fits directly into standard breadboards
Note: These modules operate on a common frequency without built-in IDs or pairing, so they will pick up ambient noise. Use a library like VirtualWire to implement filtering and reliable data encoding. Module colour may vary (blue or green) — functionality is identical.

Ideal For

  • Simple one-way wireless data links
  • Remote sensor data transmission
  • Learning RF communication basics
  • Wireless trigger and control projects
